Here's my beef with the Democrats. I can appreciate that you think it is the government's place to provide for the general welfare. That those people who make more, should be required to pay, not just more in real dollars, but in a higher percentage. And I understand that you want the repeal the Bush tax cuts and perhaps even raise taxes. OK. I can appreciate that point of view, even though I absolutely don't agree with that course of action.
But let me ask you this. Can you please, at the very least, make your own leadership pay the current taxes that are on the books? And yes, I am talking about you Tom Daschle, Timothy Geithner, and Marion Barry.
