I just heard a clip of Mitch McConnell explaining what a trillion dollars is: "If you started the day Jesus Christ was born and spent $1 million every day since then, you still wouldn’t have spent $1 trillion."

- I'm pretty much at the Howard Beale stage of frustration with the state of affairs: "Everybody's out of work or scared of losing their job. The dollar buys a nickel's worth; banks are going bust; shopkeepers keep a gun under the counter; punks are running wild in the street, and there's nobody anywhere who seems to know what to do, and there's no end to it." So I decided that rather than kicking my cats and making my wife miserable with my incessant rantings, I would take to the great internets tubes, and rant to all of you.
