Emperor Calderon

Well, we all know that there's a lot of controversy over the AZ illegal immigration law. Not sure where I fall on that argument. Granted, I think everyone needs to comply with the law of the land (I know...I guess I am kind of naive). But let's face it, if we did not have to support such a nanny-state as the US has, we really wouldn't care much if we had immigrants illegal or not. They wouldn't be sapping any resources by being here, as the government wouldn't be giving anything away.

So, needless to say, when I read an email that came to me about a Tom O'Malley's experience when he worked as an America Ex-Pat in Mexico. So I was very skeptical about the validity of the story. But according to this posting, it appears to be legit. So if this is indeed the case, Calderon has some nerve to come to the US and chastise us on how to deal with immigration. Think about this for a minute...What type of cap hole of a country do you have to be "leading" if there is more opportunity for your an your family if you come to the US, wait outside of a Home Depot for some potential day labor work, in all sorts of horrendous weather? If that is a step up from what you have in your native country, no wonder people risk their lives to come here. It would be great if these protesters, that are proud of their heritage and nationality, would instead of attacking the US, take that fury and turn that vitriolic rage against the power structure of Mexico and demand improved conditions there. Stand up and fight for the rights of your own heritage! Don't let some puny President with a severe Napoleon-complex continue to trample on his citizens basic human rights!

I think Bush got it wrong...Instead of ousting Saddam, maybe he should have ousted his buddy Vicente Fox...
